Traveling 20mph, had no prior warning;, and lost power, just stopped. A few seconds later, it would catch again. Also, when accelerating or turning corners, vehicle would lose power. Problem was intermittent. Took vehicle to dealership & mechanic indicated it was PCM related. Problem may be solved. The dealer could not solve the problem.
Inc #1 4--wheel drive lights flashed 15 seconds, 4-wheel drive motor replaced. Inc #2 - vehicle stalled during left turns after travlling at hwy speeds. New processor installed, problem still exists.
Vehicle stalled upon stopping while applying accelerator pedal, causing engine to shut off. Vehicle been in/out of dealer shop for inspection/repairs. ECU was replaced, and problem still reoccurring.
Vehicle has hesitation problems. Problem is intermittent. Took vehicle to dealer & placed on monitoring after it happend 5 times. Nothing showed up. Manufacturer sent information regarding problem with computer chip which was replaced.

Because of minor damage to the computer chip in the ignition key, the Explorer will not start. Manufacturer or dealer not willing to remove feature at owner's expense.
