1995 Ford Explorer stalls without waring at any given time, whether at idle or during acceleration. Has been checked out by local Ford dealership where no problems have been found.
The vehicle engine failed whiled driving, the dealer stated that the engins pistons failed, the head gasket cracked and blue smoke was coming out of the tailpipe, the dealer replaced the engine with a rebuilt engine, the vehicle was picked up from the dealer and while driving from the dealer the engine failed again. Nlm
While traveling at highway speeds, vehicle loses power, consumer states its like she takes her foot off the gas pedal and by the time she pulls over, the vehicle runs like normal, noone can determine the cause.
Safety defect. Engine stalled multiple times after starting in hot weather. Stalled in moving traffic. Same problem previous summer. Jul 31, 2001 dealership replaced valve assembly-idle air control, value asy-throttle air by-pass for $230. Previously paid $590 for same symptom and not fixed.
Engine stalls during hot wx. Engine stalled when trying to enter traffic. Restarts if hood is lifted to allow air to circulate and cool components. Nov 16, 2000 dealership replaced PCM, bra processor asy-eec, evr, control asy-egr vacuum regulator, sensor asy-egr pressure valve for ~$600. Not fixed.

The engine failed while driving, the piston was shot, an engine gasket was cracked and blue smoke was coming out of the tail pipe, engine belt cracked. Nlm
Engine stalls when letting off gas in traffic or ideling when outside temperatures are 90 degrees or above. The engine is not registering it being overheated nor is there a need for additional water in the radiator. All of these have been checked.
