While driving on interstate speed 70 mph - came across slow vehicle and switched lanes to go around. Vehicle lost what seemed all power and shifted hard. My vehicle had less than 12,000 on it at the time and dealership could not recreate the issue and no codes were found. I took it in again and the transmission fluid was low and the dealership said that was from factory - still no codes. Finally threw a "stuck in park" code when it lost all power when I had to slow for interstate construction work on 8/26/22.
The dealership wants to remove transmission to diagnose and match with a Ford Bulletin. However, if it doesn't "match" - I will be on the hook for $2500 since my vehicle is at 40,000.
