I have Ford ESP warranty at $2,500 which lists McPherson struts as COVERED in writing. But, Ford has refused to cover under ESP warranty. Ford parts OEM online identifies McPherson struts as other name as shock absorbers - Ford is playing us. Advice needed. Thanks.
Update from Oct 17, 2022: Although Ford ESO states McPherson struts are covered, Ford backed out of covering. Cost me $1600. I will NEVER buy A Ford
