Ford differentials whine!!! I have driven 5 Expeditions for a minimum of 225,000 each over the past 25 years. Shortly after the truck is new, the differential starts to whine. I have had several of the differentials replaced and that works for a short time. I bought a new 2018 truck, thinking it would be different. I have certified myself insane!
It is a Platinum Expedition and the flipping differential is starting to get loud. I was hoping the quiet sound in the truck normally would buffer the noise, but alas, it does not. Any suggestions? If not, I will have to move on down the road in a different means of conveyance. Thoughts are greatly appreciated.
