Got in my 2017 Ford Expedition (45,000+ Miles), and notice the Screen for backup camera/radio/clock was blank except for a swirling arrow that kept flashing LOADING. Drove a 6 hour trip and it still says LOADING. Made appointment at All Star Ford dealership in Pittsburg, CA. Service called and said it is the module that needs to be replaced, but no one has them and it is NOT covered under warranty or extended service contract.
He also told me that there are no modules available due to Covid-19. I feel the camera is a safety issue. My vehicle has been in the dealership 2 weeks. This is the vehicle I use to tow a travel trailer with which now has a none working backup camera and still camping weather, but all is useless because they have the vehicle torn apart and in their possession waiting for god knows how long to get a part (if that is really the problem).
