The contact owns a 2015 Ford Expedition. The contact stated there was vibrating coming from the vehicle that had progressively worsened over time. The contact stated that while driving over 50 MPH, the vibration becomes worse. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed that the vehicle experienced electrical problems. The dealer replaced the bushings on the vehicle, however, the vehicle continued to experience vibration while driving. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure milage was 89,000.
The contact owns a 2015 Ford Expedition. The contact stated that the steering wheel control buttons were inoperable. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the control buttons were replaced; however, the failure persisted. The dealer diagnosed that the steering wheel wiring had failed, and that the steering wheel needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The manufacturer referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 72,000.
