Went to close the sun roof after driving around before the best Super Bowl comeback of all time and the sunroof wouldn't close all the way. There began to be some crunching and cracking and then loud pops as it slid forward an then back. I finally had to give it assistance to get it closed. I took the sunroof window out the next morning and found several broken plastic pieces which caused the entire alignment to go out of whack. I have found several pieces for replacement online(none of them cheap) and have seen estimates from other online forums in the $1000 range to fix the problem. Was looking for new sunroof assembly online but it looks like the only option ill be buying pieces separately or paying the dealer with my youngest born to fix it. I was able to put the window in and level it out using wood braces on the inside but as of now its just a useless window in the roof. I'll update if I get it fixed.
