Moon/sunroof wont shut! And another one bites the dust! Use my sun/moon roof mostly in the vent position but tried full open mode today in January on the east coast as it was 71 degrees outside! Horrible grinding popping noise and wouldn't open or shut completely. Two person manipulation and got it closed but then tried to reopen in vent position (yes, reminded by spouse that was stupid) and now it's off the track. Read previous comments on the same issue and feel sick to my stomach. This happened exactly one week after driver window had the same grinding and no closing issue which my mechanic fixed for $425. He referred me to someone else for this repair today as he knew he couldn't handle it. I'm so not paying for FORD to fix this for $2K! but it's winter and I can't drive the vehicle in the cold and rain! HELP!!
