Paid big bucks for this truck. Take very good care of vehicle. Has power running boards and the drivers side board stripped the gear out of the assembly. Called Ford to inquire about cost of motor and they told me $1129. When I took it into Ford, they called and said I needed to replace the entire assembly, running board included. It would cost me $2750 which I asked why they didn't just replace the motor or gear. They said you had to buy the complete unit and their parts department must have made a mistake. How did the parts department make a mistake if they gave me the price for the motor? I am removing the running boards tomorrow and going to have stationary ones installed. It has definitely made me think twice about purchasing another Ford product.
