when it rains, electrical system goes haywire. The radio turns off, all the monitors begin blinking, beeping occurs. After this, when the engine is turned off, the engine will not come back on. We have taken it to the ford place, i was given a rental for two days. the Ford place contacted tech support for assistance..which in the end was little assistance...It stopped raining so it was difficult for them to diagnose. In the end i was charged 500 and told they used some industrial strength tape around some electrical wires. We did get the cost down to 400 (for tape)...this problem is still not fixed, it has occurred again, we have ruled out that it is not the rain coming down, but the water the wheels are throwing up into an electrical box....i am too take it back the next time rain is in the forecast...please anyone with suggestions?
