Paint began bubbling at several spots on the vehicle, not limited to the rear hatch (around license plate), rear hatch under glass, all four rocker panels, hood close to windshield, running boards where they met rocker panels, and front bumper around tow hooks. One spot on passenger side rear rocker panel ended up rusting through. Never did get estimate to repair, but would imagine it to be in the $1,500 to $2,000 range given the amount of repair needed.
I washed/waxed this car at least weekly since buying it. Only thing I can think of is prior owner did a terrible job keeping it clean, or the Expeditions like to rust away.
