We paid $46,000 for this vehicle. It is the new copper color ford has. Was shining beautifully when we drove it out of the showcase at Crossroads Ford in Cary, NC. It started raining on our way home(approximately 85 miles).I drove it under my carport and next morning the water spots were impossible to remove. We tried rinsing and wiping it dry, but the spots wouldn't disappear. We took it to a nearby Ford dealer in Wilson and they did something to remove the spots however the next time it rained or we washed it, the spots came back through. Its the most difficult paint to make shine, I've ever seen. I' ve thought about having it repainted but was told it would lose value.I just had it waxed by a ford professional, and the spots are still there. The vehicle is still under warranty and ony has 24000 miles and 36 months in Nov 25,2010. I think Ford is responsible for my faulty paint, but I can't get a dealer to admit it.What can I do?
