Very concerned that the frame rusted through on both sides in the front wheel well areas. Ford welded in two triangle plates onto the frame that got moisture under them. The frame and plates rusted completely through. Local body shops would not even give a estimate. My local Ford dealer welded in replacement plated and sealed with undercoating.
It is disappointing that a vehicle not even 10years old has frame rust though at a critical point where the steering and suspension at attached. Even worse was Ford would not help with the repair. I have looked at other Expeditions built around 2007 and see the same problem.
