I took it to the Ford Dealership for the second time my Over drive light off button started flashing. The first time they stated it had a seal leak that cost me $400 they also cleaned and replaced transmission fluid. After about 10 days the light started flashing again. Now 30 days later the O/D off button flashed again. I brought it to the ford place and now a code is showing P0712 which the service guy stated its a sensor going out but it probably means my transmission is malfunctioning. He said he could get a refurbished transmission for around $5000 installed. I told him that my vehicle drives smooth and that I would not be replacing my transmission at this time.
