I took it into the Ford service department on 1/6/2016 and they knew what it was immediately, they had been replacing them often. The service guy stated the parts get hung up when you are switching from your feet to head mode for the rear air conditioner. It comes and goes, sometimes it's loud and some times it's a soft sound. My A/C works find so I decided that $300 was too much to pay.
