Three years ago all spark plugs and ignition coils were changed and now three years later everything needs to be changed again with only 44,000 miles on coils/plugs. Was told by the mechanic that the ignition coils made specifically for Ford are junk and if you get 3 years out of them that's good. The spark plugs once again have gone bad and this time one of the cylinder heads needs to be re-tapped due to spark plug breaking off and with threads still intact. Whole engine needed to be pulled in order to get head off. What should have been a simple fix of removing spark plug has now cost me over $3000.

At 150,00 miles had all ignition coils and spark plugs changed, 4 of the 8 spark plugs broke off, took 3 full days for the mechanic to replace all plugs at a cost of $1,000.

If I had known that ford had changed the spark plugs or had I known about this problem with the 5.4L Engine I would have never bought this piece of s*** ford should be ashamed for selling this product to it's customers and why has there not been a recall, I'll tell you why...It's that good old American Greed. Of course I've had no help from ford and I'm still paying for this vehicle!
