I had a 2004 ford expedition that was running ruff when you came to a complete stop. I had two mechanics both tell me that the lubrication ports on the camshafts get clogged due to poor engine care, once they get clogged the oil pressure drops thus freaking the computer out.
Both mechanics said its time for a new motor. so I traded it in.
