This problem has occurred 4 times. Had a new alternator put in, then starter, door sensor, now a fuel pump and the fuse box. Over $2000.00 later, the vehicle would run great and going 55 or 60 just stall. It was scary. This happened 3 times. The mechanic tried all the above stuff, now again with out a truck, and another big bill. Ford knew about this problem and it makes other parts go wrong also and has not let the customer know or fix this dangerous problem. They going to wait till someone dies or what? Very upset, very scared and very broke now.
I had just filled my tank, when I got in the truck it just turned over but would not crank. After several hours, it cranked. This is the third time it happened.
My 2003 Expedition Eddie Bauer was running good but I went to Chicago Auto Show the temperature was around 30 degrees when I parked it 4 hours later the vehicle will not start, checked fuses, had the mechanic change the fuel pump and fuel filter and nothing it is still at the mechanic shop and they can not get running the way it is suppose to be running need suggestions on the problem, it seems that that should have been a recall problem that Ford should consider doing. Very pissed off about the situation
