I would just like to get this fixed. This SUV has been a beast in it's time. The rest of the steel body has pretty decent paint for it's age. If Ford knew about this....this should be a recall, or some kind of compensation.
It was hard to figure out what happened to the hood except it looks ugly. Finally realized what it was and am very unhappy with FORD. Somewhere they forgot basic science about dissimilar metals. Own up ford and fix the problems.
