The contact owns a 2002 Ford Expedition. He states that the doors will actually lock them in the vehicle even though the child safety switches are turned off. The switches are defective so when passengers in the vehicle pull the handle to get out the doors will automatically lock. This involves both locks in the back of the vehicle. Updated 12/07/05.
A burglar was able to insert a screw driver between the driver's side door handle module and the outer wall of the door and remove the handle module and open the door and steal various items in the vehicle without setting off the alarm.
