2001 Ford Expedition. The back door has two hydraulic lifts to hold the door open. One on driver's side broke loose from the vehicle. After inspection they found the other lift was welded in six places, and this one was only welded in one place. Consumer took the vehicle to the dealership and they stated it is not under warranty. The manufacturer also states this is not under warranty, and it will cost $435 to fix. The door could no longer be used, it will not stay open.
