Noticed the steering had some "play" and was pulling a little to the right.......took it to the repair shop and they said the steering column shaft was worn, something to do with the bushings or joint.....anyway, they wanted $500 to fix it.......I asked how serious or dangerous it was and they said it wasn't really dangerous, so we continue to drive it like it is.......this is not something that should have worn out in a vehicle with less than a 100k miles and there are many others with the same complaint, but Ford isn't doing anything about this problem either....check it out on line.....Once again, with the problems we've had with our F150 and the Expedition, I'm beginning to realize that Ford isn't built so TOUGH after all.........and will replace the Expedition with a Suburban or a Tahoe soon........anyone interested in a used Expedition?
