- the contact owns S a 2000 Ford Expedition with an odometer reading of 150000 miles. The contact stated that the vehicle was parked in the driveway when it caught on fire. The contact was able to put out the fire without contacting fire department. As the contact was putting out the fire under the hood they found that the master cylinder melted and was a possible source of the fire. The cruise control wasattached to the braking system, and the recall 05V017000 concerning ) vehicle speed control:cruise control could be a cause as well.
The vehicle was parked without warning the vehicle caught fire. No injuries to report. The fire department was called to extinguished out the fire. The vehicle was towed by the insurance company.
