I can't believe that the only solution is to replace this part, I had to unplug the HECU because of the cost, but I lost the ABS system.. still brakes work but all style.. anyway here you have this complaint.. there is no way to be fixed , you need to buy the control unit and take it to the Ford Dealer to be programmed
