The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that there was no recall. The failure was not diagnosed. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.
The contact owns a 2005 Ford Excursion. The contact stated that while driving 15 mph, the vehicle failed to accelerate while the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for a diagnosis where it was advised that the injector pressure system needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified. The approximate failure mileage was 95,000.
