Vehicle was at a standstill when both driver's side and passenger's side air bags deployed without a cause. Also, air bag light was illuminating on dashboard, and an odor appeared in the vehicle prior to air bag deployment. Consumer has contacted the dealer.
While driving on a ramp vehicle was involved in an accident and the air bags did not deploy, and the seatbelts did not lock up. Please provide any futher information.
While driving in a residential street hit a dog, and air bags deployed on both driver's and passenger's sides. Passenger's side air bag busted the front window, and consumer's hand was burned badly.
Vehicle was at a stop light all of a sudden both air bags deployed. Dealer notified, and informed consumer that it was caused was by water intruding on circuit board module located under driver seat. Repairs were made, but water still kept entering. Consumer believed the problem was due to A/C condensation. Vehicle was involved in a collision at 45mph, seat belts did not retract properly, and the airbag did not deploy until the vehicle came to a complete stop. Dealer and manufacturer have been notified.
Vehicle was involved in an accident in which vehicle rolled into a ditch while coming to a stop at approx. 25 mph in heavy rain condition. Upon impact, both air bags deployed and bursted. Driver received chemical burns to his fingers, and passenger received chemical burns to one of his eyes and face. Dealer/manufacturer notified. Seeking help from NHTSA in this matter.
Air bags deployed for no reason. When the car came to a stop, it bumped the car in front of it. Ford says this was the cause for the deployment. It was not!
Consumer was driving approximately 45mph when a deer jumped over gaurdrail head-on in front vehicle. Air bags deployed, the passenger side damaged consumers eye.
Driver's side seatbelts never locked down. When the passenger side airbag was deployed it shattered the windshield. Glass was on the passenger's seat and if some one was there they would have been cut.

During the collision the seat back mechanisms broke and allowed the recline to a 45 degree angle, the shoulder strap of the seat belt slid down to her arm, and she was thrown into the steering wheel since the air bags were not deployed. Vehicle was totalled, and driver sustained injury.
Consumer was driving vehicle on highway at 60 mph when noticed a burning smell coming from inside, passenger's side of vehicle. Pulled vehicle over to see what was burning, nothing could be found. Passenger got back into car, while driver was still looking under the hood. Less then 30 seconds after passenger got into the vehicle, both air bags deployed. Passenger received chemical burns and cuts on face. Also, air bags cracked front windshield. Dealer notified.
During frontal impact at 30mph, the passenger's side air bag deployed, while driver's side air bag did not deploy, causing consumer to hit steering wheel.
