The contact owns a 1995 Ford Escort. The vehicle has cooper mastercraft A/S iv tires, size P20565R15 (na). While driving 25 mph, when the tires are cold, they become bumpy and cause the vehicle to ride roughly. The vehicle has not been inspected. The VIN, purchase date, engine size, dot number, and number of cylinders were unknown. The current and failure mileages were 4,000.
Vehicle was hit while parked in the front left tire which shoved vehicle into the curb. Consumer took vehicle to body shop. Did front end alignment, and replaced tire. Year later while driving vehicle, front left tire started smoking. Took back to dealer to be rechecked. Also, tire was worn on inside. Consumer stated dealer called tire company to fix tire, and dealer would be responsible.
While driving the vehicle, the vehicle has irregular steering control and rough riding, inappropiate tire wear. Consumer states vehicle can not be aligned properly due to the right front wheel assembly design which is causing irregular steering and tire wear.
