I was driving home on the by-pass, running 55 and it just shut off. No bumps, no bangs and no sign of a problem. Got it home and checked the air, spark, and injector signal then turned to fuel. Had a bad pump and had blown the fuse to the injectors. Replaced pump and fuse. Still no start. Attached fuel pressure gauge at Schrader valve. Got 34 lbs of pressure and it dropped like a rock. Pulled Injector rail: all injectors firing correctly. Re-installed and rechecked pressure with the same results. Temp was running slightly higher than normal but not out of the standard normal range, and it was nearly 100 degrees out. How can I test the fuel pressure regulator or replace it??? Anyone got any ideas???
