I have always been interested in hybrid vehicles. So I did my research and found a cherry of a deal(at least I thought I had) found a 2009 with relatively low mileage, excellent shape as far as body, running, shifting. No warning lights until the other morning. I live on a fairly steep hill and was braking midway through and low and behold my brakes go all the way to the floor and felt really spongy. After a few pumps they felt adequate to get home, and now 3 or 4 lights regarding the brakes are on. I live in a rural area and will have to drive 40-50 miles just to get it looked at. Any idea what is going on? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
