2007 Ford Escape Hybrid. Freezing cold February in Maryland. I parked my car with my driver side front window cracked for some fresh air and heard a pop, went to roll the window up with the result being a lot of grinding. The window then slid the rest of the way into the door where it remained until I could pull it up with needle nose pliers and tape it up. Took it to my local Ford dealership, $420 for the new regulator plus $120 labor. After reading the other complaints I'm expecting the rest of my windows to fail soon, what a shame.
Ford should really stand behind or recall these parts.
