We pulled out of the driveway and the car started to jerk and vibrate. We idled back into the driveway and had it towed to a repair shop. They ran the codes and it came up as a hybrid cooling fan problem, so it would need to be dealt with by the dealer. We called Ford and gave them the codes. Ford quoted us $10,900 to fix it!!!!! YES. You read that number correctly. We listened to their voicemail over and over and called them back to be 100% positive that was the quote. We were not mistaken. Perhaps there was a cheaper way to get the fix done, but we threw in the towel on this car right then and there. It was sold for parts the very next day.
