An unusual, perfume-like odor is emitted into the cabin when the heater is on, raising concerns that it indicates toxins.
Neither the dealer nor Ford will put any of their effusive verbal assurances that it's not toxic in writing. They call it "new car smell" and "normal" when it definitely is neither. We live in Colorado, and we've been awfully cold because we don't turn on the heater.
