Ford TSB #SSM 49193
2020 Ford Escape
TSB Document:
Affected Component: TIRES
- Summary
- Some 2020 Escape vehicles with S level trim equipped with keyed ignition built on 22-Jul-2020 and through 5-Aug-2020, may exhibit an illuminated TPMS lamp in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). TPMS sensor replacement will not resolve this condition due to internal components of the body control module (BCM). If tire pressure is set to placard and diagnosis leads to TPMS sensor replacement, replace the BCM. Because of part constraints, dealers may experience situational short-term backorders. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 419-10. For claiming, use causal part 15604 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
