The edges of the tail light covers are sharp and when I accidentally brush my arms on them while the tailgate is up exposing the edges, I cut my arms badly. I could not upload pictures of the tailgate cover edges or the cuts on my arm which I have.
While driving on the interstate at 70mph, the entire dash display went black for a few seconds, then returned on. This happened three times, then returned back to normal.
Headlights are plastic and they are discolored on the inside. I had one replaced 1 year ago at "surprise Ford" in surprise Arizona, but both are discolored or fogged up. When driving at night the lighting is greatly diminished. The headlight have been this way since I bought the vehicle.
Interior lights are not working. Took the car to the dealership under the manufacturer warranty and they are unable to solve the problem. The dealership replaced the body control module and this did not fix the problem. Service tech stated they need to contact Ford Engineering to resolve the problem.
The contact rented a 2020 Ford Escape from hertz rental car. The contact stated while taking off from a traffic light, the vehicle hesitated without warning. The contact stated the turn signal indicators were inoperable. Additionally, the rear back over prevention camera was off centered. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. A dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was not informed of failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
