This has occurred 3 times. Once on 1/11/21 @ 5117 miles, again on 2/10/21 @ 6018 miles and then again @ 5/15 @ 8500 miles and then again on 5/27 @ 9400 miles. The wrench light service vehicle says do not continue to drive vehicle.
Ford dealership has had several answers to this. One reprogram modules based on code P07E6 the first time. Was in the shop for 7 days. second time wrench light came on and vehicle wouldn't move. Towed into dealer. they found PO7E6 code again. They checked all wiring pins and config of SOBDM. It was in shop for 10 days. Third time Wrench light came on. They couldn't find any codes even though they saw all the warning lights on the vehicle as it sat in their service area.
It's been 4 days and no path to a fix. The dealer is saying that Ford won't pay for technician if the codes aren't available. They stated that the codes delete themselves after restarting the vehicle. I question the validity of this statement. They do not have a plan of attack and we do not feel comfortable driving this vehicle anywhere. They are saying they really don't want us calling them about this like it is our fault the vehicle is not working. They have provided misleading information about replacing a module when in fact they did not. We do not appreciate the dealers interface with us nor his tone that we are the cause of the issues as how we drive the vehicle. The dealer is Green Ford in Peoria IL
