Also the contact indicated that the front driver's side window would not roll completely down. The vehicle was taken to the local mechanic who diagnosed that the front driver's side door spot welding was faulty and needed to be repaired. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 48,000.
