The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who diagnosed that the rear driver's side brake pads and rotors were significantly worn compared to the rear passenger's side brake pads and rotors. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 20,863.
