Some 2018 Escape vehicles equipped with BLIS and CTA built on or before 4-May-2018 may exhibit BLIS and CTA fault messages in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U3000:46 stored in the side obstacle detection control module left side (SODL) or side obstacle detection control module right side (SODR). Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.
