My 2018 Ford Escape 1.5 Eco Boost has been Recalled three time in three years. The car has been in for repair several other times for computer problems. I purchased the Escape brand new hoping to have a problem free car - boy, was I wrong.

The first recall was a Powertrain Module, which was replaced.

The second recall was when the engine blew up at 15,000 miles and needed replacement. The Heads had holes in them allowing coolant to mix with the oil creating a dangerous problem.

The third recall is the transmission Cable, which is dangerous.

The car was in for computer reprogram at 1277 miles.. The car was back to Ford for the same computer program problem at 12,047 and reprogrammed.

My Escape had a defective Axle at 15,800 miles and needs replacement due to dangerous problem with the front end.

Ford motor company in Michigan was notified and not helpful at all. Ford has had my car in the repair shop going on 60 days in total.
