Some 2017 Escape vehicles equipped with a 1.5L EcoBoost engine and built on or before 1 Feb 2017 may exhibit an illuminated MIL with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P04DB and/or P051B stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.
