Vehicle shuddered briefly and caution brake failure lights came on. Pulled over and emergency brake engaged with no known trick to release. Don’t know if I could have kept driving but that would have been in isolated area with unsafe turns. Presents a problem if this could happen again and we are hours away from help. Health issues need 100 % reliable vehicle. Ford you have us scared to drive. What can a dealer do?
Update from Aug 8, 2018: An actuating solenoid for emergency brake failed. Unusual event?? Vehicle had to be towed, wheels totally locked up. Scares me to think had I been hour further away, me with ms and the heat not so good😟
