significant surface rust on the spindles in rear suspension
I bought my 2015 Ford Escape in August, 2015. It now has 8,000.00 miles on it. I've gone to work and back and made one trip to DC before Xmas. It is kept in a garage when not in use. There is NO reason I should have rust showing on my car! Ford is telling me that there are areas they do not paint or treat but they don't give me a reason. Further, their Warranty and Policy Manual says that "underbody surface rust on frame or chassis components on vehicles reported as sold fall under the Non-Reimbursable conditions!"
Why should I be responsible for this rust? I'm concerned it may get worse and then it will cause a serious problem, not to mention be expensive for me to fix. I've always bought new vehicles and I've never had a rust issue like this! Ford had a Huge rust recall in some northern states. My car hasn't even been in a snow area - I want this fixed! I'm so disappointed with Ford right now!!
