Had gas smell in car within 2 months of purchase. Took to dealer. They had it for 8 days. Mechanic found a major fuel line leak, ordered parts and repaired. I was given an old Ford Taurus with sand in the foot wells to drive while waiting. What a nightmare that was. Everything has been fine with fuel line since.
