CarComplaints.com Notes: The top problem trend for the 2014 Escape is transmission failure at around 70k miles.
This is relatively low mileage for an expensive transmission failure ($4,500 average to fix), but unless the trend becomes more established, we are only awarding the 2014 Escape our "Beware of the Clunker" badge for now.
Bought this car on 7/30/19 around October of 2019 I started having trouble with it leaking transmission fluid. Had the transmission rebuilt, after about a month it started leaking again. All along it kept say low coolant then I would feel it up and 4 days again it would say low coolant. Now I'm being told I need to replace the engine. I have put so much into this car for barley having it a year.
