CarComplaints.com Notes: The top problem trend for the 2014 Escape is transmission failure at around 70k miles.
This is relatively low mileage for an expensive transmission failure ($4,500 average to fix), but unless the trend becomes more established, we are only awarding the 2014 Escape our "Beware of the Clunker" badge for now.

Have been feeling faint for years and recently so bad I am unable think. I went to a doctor and he checked my blood and said had carbon monoxide in my blood and could not understand why. He is running a lot of tests to get down to the brunt of the matter. I've been put on inhalers so I can breath and cannot walk very far without being exhausted.
I think Ford should get on this right away I'm to young to die and I never should have been to this point where I'm having to go to the hospital and labs for testing. I think Ford will be looking into this because I'm permanently ill due to four years of driving in this car. Bought in 2015 with 14,000 miles. I have 40,900 miles now. I've smelling fumes since day one ,but thought it was because I was at the back of the lift area.
