The contact owns a 2014 Ford Escape. While driving 30 mph, the contact heard an abnormal noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to sellers-sexton Ford Lincoln Mazda (located at 341 vfw memorial dr, St robert, mo 65584, (573) 336-2000) where it was diagnosed that the brakes needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but continued to experience the failure. The vehicle was diagnosed again and it was determined that the rear differential needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was 58,000. The VIN was not available.
