This is relatively low mileage for an expensive transmission failure ($4,500 average to fix), but unless the trend becomes more established, we are only awarding the 2014 Escape our "Beware of the Clunker" badge for now.
Suddenly the audio sound stopped working and the radio frequency could not be changed. 2014 Ford Escape is only 5 years old and 63,000 miles. Dealer said there is no replacement parts. Have to bring in the vehicle to remove the module and the dealer has to mail it in to be reworked and ship it back to be mounted again. It will cost $633.00 with 1 year warranty.
