CarComplaints.com Notes: The top problem trend for the 2014 Escape is transmission failure at around 70k miles.
This is relatively low mileage for an expensive transmission failure ($4,500 average to fix), but unless the trend becomes more established, we are only awarding the 2014 Escape our "Beware of the Clunker" badge for now.

One day the Bluetooth module stopped working. No amount of system resets, etc., could fix. Took it to Ford and they ordered a new radio module (1 of the 2) and after months of waiting it never came. Had another mechanic replace it with a scrap one. Only fixed half the issue - only the AM/FM worked after that. Still waiting to find the other half of the module so I can have Bluetooth again.
