CarComplaints.com Notes: The top problem trend for the 2014 Escape is transmission failure at around 70k miles.

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Escape. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the instrument panel cluster started to malfunction. Additionally, the contact stated that the audio panel, the radio, and the hands-free communication device failed to operate as designed. The dealer was notified of the failure and the contact was informed that the APIM may need to be repaired however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was transferred to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 97,000.
